Anyone give their dogs greenies? How often do you give them to a small dog, and what size should I get?
I’ve noticed they’re one of the more expensive treats out there, and was wondering how often do you give them to your dogs? They seem a little high to me to give every day! I’ve never bought them before, so I was wondering if it’s something that they have to chew on for a while, or just a snack they can gobble up quickly?
Are they a healthy treat, or should they be limited to a few times a week, etc.?
I’ve also noticed they make ‘petite’ size and ‘teenie’ size. I have a 3 month old yorkie, so which of those two should I buy?
Dying from them? Like, from ingredients, obstructions, or choking on them? Gosh, maybe I won’t be buying them afterall. Thanks for the info!
Stop the greenies, I don’t even know how they can still sell them. Try bully sticks, there are several brands. Organic ones tend to smell less(buy online or at a pet store) they are all natural and fully digetible and last awhile. I would stay away from rawhide also undigestible
Since she is young and will be teething in about a month, get a puppy kong. You can fill them with all sorts of things, natural yogurt, low sodium chicken broth, mashed banana, canned baby food (nothing with onion), any with kibble mixed in. Then freeze. It will keep her busy for a long time, is actually healthy, and soothes her gums.
