What are your pet peeves of the horse world?
Mine are:
When kids are jumping heights that they are not ready to do safely
When people use certain pieces of tack without knowing much about them or using them just for looks
When people use stronger bits to cover up a problem with a horse’s training or rider’s knowledge/skill level
Backwoods hicks that use tack which does not fit their horse at all, causing it pain
Using dirty tack at horse shows lol
To sum up what BYBhunter said in more a concise way, the “MiekoMama”‘s of the world. They’re more than a pet peeve to me, but that’s what bugs me the most.
